Weapons can be equipped during the beginning of the battle only. Food can be onions, chicken, and whatnot, each item only heals a specific amount of HP. The armor allows 2 times your defense for about thirty seconds, the axe allows 2 times your attack. Whenever you break a box you may get some armor or this huge ax. Items and weapons can be found in boxes, and food can be found in pots. Pretty self-explanatory, kill your friend that's playing with you. How do you release it? Press the O button and hold it down for longer musou time. Once it fills up, you can unleash all that power, and immediately become awesome. It gets filled up whenever you hit someone, and it fills up faster when your going against a large group of people, and you hit them altogether. There is a yellow bar under your life/HP bar and that is the musou you currently have. What is musou? Musou is the power build-up basically. You basically pick any character you want and go through a series of battles, with cutscenes in between most of them. Kill as many as fast as you can before you get killed. Knock off as many enemies as you can before you die, or get knocked off yourself. Kill as many soldiers as you can before you die yourself.
You can pick any place you want to go to for battle, and you can pick any character that you want to. You can do whatever you want in this mode. There are multiple different outfits to choose from for your character. (awesomeness.) Okay well anyway, the graphics are pretty awesome, and one other cool thing is, the more you power up your character, you earn new outfits for them. If you press down your analog stick, you can taunt people. Okay well anyway, you have complete control over the camera/angle, that's a plus, and you can kill people with arrows too. All the player has to do to attack is press square. Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and last-gen consoles.The gameplay is quite simple to follow. It’s a risk, though, with perseverance, there’s a big reward too. Sun Wukong is a slippery foe to fight, and while Kiyomori Taira isn’t the hardest boss around, he’s flanked by the multi-armed monstrosity Hundun. Some of the big names may cause problems though. The officers are almost as plentiful as the peons, so it offers more bang for its buck too. "Defense of Itsukushima" takes away the poison clouds and increases the enemy count instead. Unless the player’s already at a high enough level, they’ll more than likely fail just because their allies got zonked off-screen somewhere. There is a regular "Battle of Itsukushima" stage too, but that one is rather difficult with its poison clouds draining everyone’s health. It’s not a must-get stage either, as the other stages will do in a pinch. This one is a DLC stage, so not everyone will be able to take advantage of it.
